Posing
Each face I photograph is unique, and so is yours. We will sit down together and figure out which side is your ‘good side’ and I have a bunch of cool tips and tricks up my sleeve to reduce that double chin you've always hated, no photoshop needed. We'll discuss different hairstyles and what clothes suit you best.
I'll teach you about body language and how you can use specific techniques to your advantage.
Expresson
The expression is one of the essential parts of your Headshots. We will spend the majority of our session, making sure you convey a warm, confident and approachable personality. It's the subtle things that make a difference, it’s how we make a headshot go from mediocre to spectacular.
Together we make sure to create headshots that set you apart from your competition.
Image Selection
It's an absolute pain in the butt to judge your images from the back of the camera on a tiny 3-inch screen. Which is why I use a technique called ‘shooting tethered’ that allows for complete transparency. During the session we’ll be able to review the images together as we go. This process allows you total control over the outcome of your pictures.
You have the ability to either choose your images on the day, or I’ll send you through an online proofing gallery, where you can take your time choosing the perfect image for you.
Retouching
My number one philosophy for headshots, is that the image has to be a true to life representation of you. Nothing kills the impact of a Headshot faster than terrible retouching. As a commercial retoucher with 12 years of experience, I pride myself in using subtle techniques to make every one of my clients look like the best version of themselves, while still looking like themselves.
